Week 1: Pitch

This week was dedicated to brainstorming ideas for our advertisement, getting to know each other, and deciding on individual roles in this project. My team is called Teamy Hawk, a play on Tony Hawk, due to our choice to advertise the hypothetical Savannah Skate Shop.

Storyboard

The overall aesthetic is going to be based on 90s grunge/skater culture. The video will feature lots of brightly-colored skateboards, with the designs being made 3D and popping out with some form of animation. The ending shot is planned to use set extension to display the shop itself in the background.

Upcoming Work

Over the weekend, we will come up with visual branding and skateboard concepts, as well as how to animate these concepts in a way that shows our strengths without overloading us. Alongside my board concept, I will be working on creating visual mockups for the store itself.
